Long before The Roost was The Roost, the Stewart family has been making sweet, delicious maple syrup on the farm. We’ve scaled up operations over the past two years to include gravity lines and a larger evaporator, but we still have a bush full of pails and boil in open-air, wood-fueled evaporators. Our syrup is pure sweet goodness with that mild smokey flavour of traditional maple syrup.
Syrup can be purchased on the farm by appointment or by chance. Due to COVID-19 risks and regulation uncertainties, public tours will not be available in 2021. We look forward to welcoming friends, neighbours and customers in 2022.
